this is a snapshot of a flash thing I’m working on.  at this point it was fun to play with.  i have since broken it entirely in hopes to make something really great.  i am hoping to use something like this (but very different looking) for my portfolio page.  this requires a lot of CPU power so my apologies if it runs very slowly.  not quite at the optimizing stage yet.

Been watching The Hakkenden, a 1993 anime series, featuring animation by Yuasa Masaaki.  Just finished Episode 10, which is totally in the Masaaki style, take a look.  It would be hard to describe what is so powerful about this, something about how he makes environments organic and responsive to the characters, like they’re all tumbling around on balls of pulsing flesh.  He’s treats...
